Good value try the instant ink!
After getting sick of constantly needing to go buy ink for my Epson printer that finally broke down I decided it was time to give HP a second chance now that they have the instant ink program running. Not only was this printer easy to set up and the instant ink program was easy to get started plus all the details of that program were clear and well laid out. I signed up for the free trial that includes 15 pages a month for no charge and $1 for each extra 10 page block of prints. That way if I son't print a lot during the month I don't pay anything for that month plus they sent me my first set of ink cartridges already which is way before needing them because the ink that came with the machine hasn't run out. So far i've printed just normal text items like emails and recipes but I have no doubt when I do print pictures it will be good I've had HP printers in the past and they were great.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

It's a good printer for the price.
Previously had an HP Office Jet 3830 so this was a replacement. It did not work correctly, printer did print in color from the computer. Did color copies OK, but not directly from the computer. Had to spend time online with HP in order to fix the problem. He had to download a new driver from a different model printer to get it to work properly. HP tech was great, but when you buy a new printer, a person doesn't expect to fix things on the new unit. Great machine, but the wireless capability is frustrating
This machine arrived earlier than expected. It sets up and prints great with the cord. However, printing wirelessly has been hit and miss and mostly miss. Trying to call HP support for help is a tremendous waste of time, unless you like sitting on hold and listening to the music. They will not answer the call. I finally did get online assistance who got it working for approximately a week. When I had more trouble and went back online for help I was given a message that my warranty had expired. I haven't even had this product a month. I love the flexibility of the insta-ink plan and it prints great as long as I plug in, but the lack of wireless printing is very frustrating. I would recommend this H P3830 All In One to anyone. Very nice printer.
I wasn't overly surprised at the very good print quality and speed of this printer as I had a similar H P All In One awhile back and for this price your getting real value. I would guess that the FAX and Picture printing extras would work equally well however I don't use those. Solid printer
Fairly easy to set up. I did have to go to the internet to see which way the ink cartridges went but these days that is easy. The printer came with extra cord and extra cartridges. print quality is fine but not great. but I wasn't looking for anything special.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

good printer, pricey cartridges...
I have windows 10, and It cannot find the printer. I don't know what the problem is, the computer or the printer. great low medium usage printer

Good printer for the $$$$
Print quality is excellent. Printer is fairly quiet easy to set up. I like it over my currant Brother unit. Cons: Case is a little flimsy. Ink is a little expensive. Great entry priced ink jet all in one unit.
Excellent inexpensive all in one unit. Hooked right into my Airport Wi-Fi LAN without any problems. Downloaded the HP drivers and software and works quickly and easily from any device in the LAN from computers to smart devices. Needed an ink jet for some projects that our laser printers couldn't do and needed also one that could print on heavier card stock. This does 110 lb stock as easily as regular letter paper. Scanner was an added bonus as my old scanner only works with one of my older Macs. That was a pain scanning into the old computer and then sending it via the network to be shared on the machine needing the scanned doc. Now scan over the LAN from any computer and print immediately if desired.
