If you are looking for an amazing guitar with a classic design and style, the Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III Electric hits many style points. To add additional comfort, this guitar features a back belly scarf. Its Probucker pickups help to deliver classic tones. A Shadow NanoMag humbucking low-impedance pickup is placed at the end of the fingerboard, which utilizes three magnets to give you an ultra-wide frequency response. Combine that with the hollow mahogany body, and you'll have a rich, acoustic guitar sound. The master volume control doubles as a push switch that lets you switch between classic magnetic, NanoMag, and a combination of the two with no delay. Epiphone Sheraton II
Guitar came in better shape than I expected. Packed very well. Exactly what I wanted, nothing special, just a fun guitar to experience the feel and tone of a semi-hollow body instrument. Very good for the price.
I really like the fit and finish, the paint is perfect. Neck is thin and has a good feel to it. Pots are smooth, but the selector switch has a dead spot in it at times. No output from the pickups when it happens. P90 pickups are good for rock, blues and country sound. Frets are nice and the finger board is exceptional. Tuners are so easy to turn that they lose tension if they are bumped. Will probably change the selector switch and the tuners and keep this one. So happy, great deal.
This was bought as damaged with a cracked neck and no guarantee on the electronics, and the p/u toggle switch is broken, well took the chance. Firstly, electronics are just fine, the switch is an easy fix, so no biggie there. Now as far as the neck, I figured at the price I paid, dirt cheap, I had no problems putting in the work to gluing and refinishing it. To my surprise the neck wasn't broken, just a finish flaw. Nice guitar
The guitar is inn like new condition thanks to the gig bag it was stored in when it purchased in 1992. Changed the pick guards and lowered the action and add a pick up, and it looks great!! See Thanks for such a nice guitar! Rich
