The most powerful; complete and well featured media server out there!
It has more than surpassed all my expectations! It plays the Highest of High Definition movies (and 4K) so smoothly it seems effortless. Right from the Home page I have YouTube, Netflix; Amazon Prime Video; BBC iPlayer and more On Demand services to hand. Then there's GAMES! It's a games console too! Lots of free games to stream come with it. You can also play games you own on Steam as well as buy games and movies on this platform. This is the most complete and well rounded media centre I have found. The performance is sky high and the ease of use is off the charts! This is the solution to your media centre needs. Nvidia Shield TV Pro 500gb (2017)
A superb Android TV box that leaves all others well in the shade. It works so well and there is so much you can do with it that you'll be blown away. Have used it pretty much everyday since I set it up which was very easy. The best way to learn about what you can do with it beyond what you can see is to look on youtube and see how you can add apps from outside the normal playstore. Everything from Showbox, CartoonHD and many other apps can be installed on it and run via Sideload Launcher. Emulators run particularly well. Forget any other streamer/android box alternative. Just what I needed.
I was assured that the Shield pro was the best tv/Kodi box available and I have not been disappointed. Well worth the higher price. It's exactly what I was looking for, fast, no buffering at all so far, and with the help of many Youtube videos and tutorials available, easy to set up just how I want. This is the best gadget I've bought for a long time. I would recommend 100%. Google play games, while not quite up to Xbox one standard, are a great extra with many great retro games available. An unexpected extra, as I bought the Shield mainly for Kodi, to replace an older cheaper box. The difference is like chalk and cheese. Simply the best!
What can I say that hasn't been said before. The Nvidia Shield TV Pro is simply one the best android devices on the market. It's very easy to use and setup with all the streaming applications that you will ever need. The attached photo shows only a fraction of the APK's/Applications that I installed on the device since I received it last week. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. The Pro model is now discontinued and they are becoming very scarce (and expensive) to source. However the standard model performs equally well and all you would need to bring the storage up to par with the Pro model is to attach an inexpensive usb hard drive.

Nice box and performs well but has glitches with games
It works however the Nvidia part of it needs work as some really strange things happen a few minutes into playing a game and even if you restart the box the issue is persistent. Aside from that a solid box you can use for your media needs. If you were to remove the gaming element then I would say it is overpriced for what it delivers as there are other products out there for a fraction of the cost but I don't think it was marketed primarily on the media elements.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Ideal projector companion
I bought a 4k projector recently and was looking for a streaming device. Nvidia shield is an ideal companion, I don’t play games but it’s good enough for multimedia use. Really glad I bought one.

Nvidia Shield Pro
Have purchased this box have had a couple of Android boxes so knew more or less what to expect but this one is something else if you like these boxes for all round entertainment you would have to look a lot further for anything to beat Nidia Shield even more so the pro with so much storage buy one and you won't look back hrs days months of fun .Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

I really like this android box. With the addition of Kodi the amount of add-ons and customizations are endless. With the 500gb hard drive I don't have to worry about deleting and moving files and apps around. Performs smooth and not hard to install and uninstall apps.
