Definitely works...
Started to find a few beetle type things so googled and believed them to be carpet / upholstery beetle . I put some of the powder on the sofa and carpet and actually left it for a week. I started to see dead beetles each day however I decided to purchase the spray as it was more cleaner and was able to spray in areas that the powder just couldn't get . After a week stopped seeing any signs . I would recommend powder if it's a carpet you need to treat and spray for anything upholstery ie sofa .. Beetle control
Every spring I'm inundated with carpet beetle. I don't know their source.. Could be coming in from outside or emerging from carpets. Apart from their presence there seems to be no damage anywhere. Purchased this carpet moth powder after finding I has these terrible insects in my house eating away at my carpet. Found this on ebay and got it delivered. Followed the detailed instructions and found it easy to use. I did my whole house which is large 3 bedroomed and it took 2 bottles. Fingers crossed but up to now no sign of any more carpet moths. Carpet moth pest
Bought this after finding patches of carpet which had been eaten by carpet moth larvae. After brushing and vacuuming I applied the powder. Since then I have seen no live larvae. Works well with most creepy crawlies.
Does a great job, kills quickly, but do use it for quite some time after it seems as if all is clear. Keep looking for the source of the little gits, found mine in a bag of bird seed would you believe. Does what it says...
You want it to kill inverts, especially moths/eggs/larvae, and it does. It kills all inverts, in fact - I had a corner under a bookcase where I'd seen a couple of larvae (presumably eating the dust, seeing as it's a manmade carpet!), so I got some of this and put it down.
