Better than expectation
Better than expected! It is a little complicated to set-up and hard to make it password secure with the existing Netgear WIFI router. The bottom line is they are working better than other type of more expensive extenders in the market.

Low price easy to set up good coverage range one connection for wired out signal for computer with out wireless wi fi reception. If stop transmitig to devices unplug for few seconds

good price.. waste of time
The problem with this product is getting it to work. The instructions are very complicated, and when it don't work as described, you have NOONE to help you with it. Tech support is worse than any words that could express. (unless you're from another country). No matter how many times you call them, you will not find anybody that can help you. If you're looking for a wifi extender, I would definitely look away from tp-link, unless you are computer/wifi savvy. Everyone else, take heed and don't give this product a second look, unless you are a lover of aggravation, frustration, and disappointment!

Works
Easy setup. Strong signal from opposite end of house to FIOS Quantum router. I am also using this as a wireless adapter and that connection is FAST. May be causing issues with I-phone staying connected to the router but I am not sure that can be attributed to this device.

Overall very good product.
Great product for the price. Instructions and programming seemed easy, but of course not for me. After a bit of cursing and manipulation, I got it to work. Whoo hoo it's all good now!

TL-WA860RE review
I bought several of these to try to extend wifi coverage in my house. I have a 3500sq ft 2 story home. Initially I was pleased the repeated my wifi signal and I did not lose the outlet. Within about 10 hrs of use they started acting up. You would connect to the repeater but not reach the internet. A reset would resolve this at least for a few hours. I find this unacceptable. I will not be deploying these in my network.

easy to setup and a strong signal
the first quick start instructions didn't work, but there were easier ones on the second page and I also contacted customer support who were very patient and helpful. I now have a very strong signal in my upstairs bedroom. It also comes with a 2 year warranty. This is replacing another brand that failed after about a year.

Get one now!
I have used many TP-Link products in the past. This one was purchased because they always work. Having the ability to still use the outlet for other devices was a plus. It's simple to set up and has taken Wi-Fi from my house 60 seet away to my workshop. And Useing a CAT 5e cable from it to the security system was plug and play. That is worth the price of two fast food lunches right? Yup.

OpenBox TP-LINK N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender with Pass-Through Outlet TL-WA860RE
TP-Link N300 range extender is good, I still have problems using this item however, I am sure it will work for me when I have learned to connect it to the Wifi internet. Its a good product for the price.

I like the product/
It works well and has indicated that it is too close to my router, and has dropped signal on occasion. It's easy to reset, so there is almost zero problem.
