ok
not the program that I am use to but was cheaper. Sometimes cheaper does not necessarily mean its better. Gets the job done, just not as short cut efficient as the Microsoft office. bought because of the disk version, but it would not download from the disk, still had to go online and download from the site.....not what I was wanting to do hence the idea of purchasing the disk version.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

It's fully compatible with Windows 10 and a great price!
Love WordPerfect as it's still a more powerful word processing program than MS Word - even though Word is playing catchup & you really need to have both anymore. Word Perfect
I've used Word Perfect since about the first product issue. It has always been reasonably priced when compared to the most popular suites. It is a comfortable set of programs that create no stress. The beauty of this sweet is that it can also read MS Office files and even save to those formats. Not so great
I purchased it hoping to gain some extra features. There is not much reason to upgrade from WordPerfect x6. I did have a problem with the program locking up. For some reason the program does not play well with another program that I was running in the back ground. Not sure what program it was but I had to reboot the computer several times so that I could continue to work in WordPerfect. Also, not sure if it is WordPerfect x7 but now every time I go on to the internet there is an ad for WordPerfect x8. wordperfect office x7
wordperfect is and always has been the king for writing and editing large documents, books etc. while 'word' does adequately for writing a letter and other business uses it falls short when it comes time to write a larger item. in wordperfect it is easier to edit and create and add items to the original document. it is also easier to find what you are wanting to do and the instructions (if necessary) to do the job. most things are very intuitive..page numbering and chapter setup are easy.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

An Affordable Office Suite !

Incompatible with older Quattro Pro files
I bought this to avoid the pain of getting an ancient version of Quattro Pro (Corel spreadsheet from about 1998) working on new build of Windows 7. While installation was a breeze it quickly proved that not all Quattro Pro 8 macro functions were still supported, but the deal breaker was that my main spreadsheet would crash the program every time it was opened. "Still crazy after all these years"
Thanks to Paul Simon for a great song title and review title. I have been using WP since 1984 and it is still by far the best word processing software on the market. Sorry Microsoft, but Word is not nearly as user friendly. I only did the upgrade because my wife was having trouble with Office X5 on Windows 10. It all works great now. Easy to install
We use WordPerfect occasionally and never use the other products that are part of the Corel suite. We normally use MS Office. I recently upgraded the computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7. The version of WordPerfect we had been using would not allow us to save the edited files. We researched the issue and from what we read, a WordPerfect upgrade was needed. Seemed fair enough given how outdated our WordPerfect was. We could have upgraded to X8 for a lot more money, but settled for X7 just to get the work done.
