Durable construction and easy access to several useful tools
The Wave has numerous tools that are easy to use, practical and durable. The handle is constructed such that it is comfortable even when squeezing hard on the pliers. Access to the tools inside the handle, including the knifes, is much easier than the Gerber multipurpose tool. The stainless steel knifes seem to hold an edge well with minimal sharpening. I purchased the optional bit driver extender, which works with all bits (flat-head, phillips, torx, etc) and it makes the Wave even more functional for light duty work. This is the second Leatherman Wave that I have owned and I love them. If possible, however, purchase a leather sheath to hold the tool because the nylon sheath doesn't last long when used continually.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

On my belt every day.
I received my first Leatherman Wave over 20 years ago. Back then, I thought it was nice, and wore it everyday on my belt. A few years ago, the main blade broke on it. When I called them to order a new blade, they said just ship it in and they would fix or replace it for free! Two weeks later, I had the newest Wave model. A few changes from the original, but all in all, was nice to have a new one again. My two oldest boys have grown up, always seeing me pull out my Wave to work on, or fix just about everything, so I thought it was time to buy them each one. Great product.. however if you have big hands and I do ,The Wave Series would be a better solution...for me ,it does the job,but feels too small
