Thanks Dr. Sony
Thought I had the wrong unit when it first came in. Seems I have both digital and analog recordings. This unit does not play digital and Dr. Sony was going to exchange it but first suggested that I confirm that all my tapes are digital. Sure enough I have both so I'm keeping the unit. Works good for the analog 8mm. Have a lot of converting to DVD. Thank-you Dr. Sony for keeping me on track.
