Beware of assumptions
This is my second Igloo ice maker. The first one was bought new and served me well for two years of daily use. Then it began to take a long time to make ice, like 2 hours so I figured it was on its last legs. I bought this one ASSUMING it had been new as it was a customer return. Not so much. Great ice maker

A Counter Top Essential
We live in a 5th wheel, 30' rv. While it does have a refrigerator and a freezer, it does not have an ice maker. Having the Igloo ice maker, saves on repeated trips to a mini market or grocery store for bags of ice, to keep your cooler or ice chest cold.
