Way too Mild
Way too overpriced. It is a very mild razor which is good but I can even shave on the 6 plate. There are stainless razors out there in the mid aggressiveness that are half the price of the Rockwell. Do not get me wrong it is a well built product but most people will only use one plate and that still gives them the chance to slow it down quite a bit as the other side is 2 steps down from the one you are shaving with or step it back up if you are using the lower number side. Rockwell already has a razor like this only in modest settings. They should offer the stainless with the 2/4 plate or the 3/5 plate and the 3/5 would win out.

Rockwell 6S is a great shave
Quality build, rugged, with 6 different plates/settings. I love the matte stainless steel, not polished and shiny like other brands. Smooth operation, nice close shave with #4 plate. Screams quality and ruggedness, will last a long, long time.

Super razor, supeer shaves
Wish I had sprung for this sooner. I've got a Weishi and I had a Parker 99 and both held the blade at an angle that allowed it to plow into my skin. The Rockwell doesn't. I'm finally getting blood free shaves, even with ultra sharp Shark blades - even on plate 6. There is no doubt they did their homework when designing this razor.

Do yourself the favor...
Best shave I’ve ever had... Very pleased with my purchase. It arrived just as promised. I’ve used safety razors off and on forever. Great feel and balance. Very stout... It’s going to out last me and probably another lucky person or two. Do yourself the favor...

The best razor I've ever used.
I have been using safety razors for years. I've had a Merkur 34c, Muhle r41, 1959 fatboy, and so on. I used to alternate between my fatboy and 34c the most. I really like shaving with an adjustable razor. I like to use a more aggressive setting for my first pass with the grain. Then I like a mild setting for the rest. I was looking at the Parker Variant after so many good reviews. After returning 2 because of terrible manufacturing quality I was about to try the Merkur Progress. Then I saw the Rockwell 2c and decided to give that a try. It was only 30 bucks and it looked interesting. Well, I returned that too but not because of any problems. I loved it. I sent it back because I bought the Rockwell 6S after the very first shave with the 2C. It was great. The 6S is even better. The molded stainless steel is amazing. The grip of the handle is so much better than anything chrome. Having 6 aggressiveness setting is wonderful. Plus, it's the best shaving experience I've ever had. The blades don't take any fussing to get even. The plate combinations are so well matched. Lastly, the mat finish from the mold process seems to give a smoother shave. Rather than a polished chrome surface squeegeeing and gripping your skin, the tiny dents seem to create a hydroplaning effect. It's so pleasing to use, I can't even really describe it well enough. The only negative is that I can't change the blade reveal with a dial. It honestly isn't much work to flip the plate though. It's simple, excellent quality, and amazingly functional. My kids are 5 & 7, and I'm honestly considering buying 2 more for them in case they aren't being made in 10 years for some reason. This will last several lifetimes and I will treasure it for mine.

Excellent
Unique 3 piece de razor design. Well engineered and manufactured. Good price compared to the competition ss razor. Is heavier than most de razors but that does not seem to be a problem when using. The grip is the best of all of my 5 de razors. Great smooth shave.

Great razor for a great price
This is the razor that lets you dial in your settings depending on your needs for the day. From mild to aggressive this razor does it all at a great price. Fit and finish are fantastic and I wish I had this 6 years ago when I started wet shaving.

Best shave yet, using #4 plate and a sharp DE blade. It's easy to get a close shave with the 6S

The perfect razor
This is the best razor I’ve ever used. So efficient, yet also mild. I also love the adjustable plates, so I can always have the right setting no matter how long my beard is. And unlike the adjustable razors, there are no breakable parts. This razor will last for several generations.

Rockwell 6S is the best For me.
I am still kinda new to the DE shaving world. Great razor, I really enjoyed finding the right plate that worked for me. I know you can spend allot more on a razor but I don’t believe I need to for an everyday workhorse as the 6S. I highly recommend this razor. I watched allot of reviews from people that know way more than me about shaving and I don’t believe I found somebody that didn’t love it. Just buy one and see
