I use them everywhere
I now have 5 amazon echo dots so that i can use them throughout our home to control the lighting throughout our house. Alexa is a lot of fun. Oh, and useful too...
This is my second dot. Wish I had a bigger house. I'd get more. I have both 1st and 2nd gen dots and I think I like the "twist" volume 1st gen better. I like it's slightly heavier feel. I've ordered some alexa enabled light bulbs and switches that should be here tomorrow. Great item and easy to set up
The Amazon Echo Dot 2nd Generation works really well! I used it to play my music when I am doing something in the house and my hands are dirty to touch things. I just have her find the music and stations I want to here and she plays it for me just with my voice. I also can get me some information when I need it like the weather or the news. It really learns fast as long as you add the programs you want it learn. Sometimes if it too loud in the house it won't hear my voice if I am from a certain distance from it, but other than that it is fantastic to have in my house. : )Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

You won't be disappointed.
I already have the Amazon Echo so this was just an additional one for my office. I think these gadgets are great. Set alarms, timers, get your local weather and who won the game last night. It can do too many things for me to list. It's great for everything however not great for music. Alexa & Her Baby Dots
Started with a full size Echo, then got the first baby Dot; now expecting a 2nd baby Dot! May get a 3rd someday. This is one fun family! Daily jokes, news, weather and music. Amazingly easy

Echo Dot Gen one

Wrong description
Sold me a 2nd gen not a 1st! Even after I emailed and asked for confirmation that it was indeed a 1st gen. The response I got was “Trust me, it is sealed and brand new. My rating here speaks for itself, I don't have the time to take a pic and send it, I usually don't with all of my auctions. If you don't trust me, there is always someone else you can buy this from”.
