The Lateset Transformers Movie is Beastly Good.
Well, besides the fact I just happen to be enthralled by the SFX, there are always sociological underpinnings to Transformers movies.Given the original intended children's audience for the comics from which they were derived, there are always strong morality observations in the plot lines. Which is good, in that it serves to give children someone to admire, say Optimus Prime, teach them life lessons that are abstracted enough to sink in painlessly, while enjoying the delivery vehicle thereof. As for those of us approaching our second childhood, sometimes the pedantry gives us pause to think "spare me". but the endless action suppresses those impulses, while keeping us thoroughly entertained.
