All that and a bag of chips!
First off, I will say that my shaving method of choice is straight razor. When you have the skill and good razors, you can not beat the perfect shave possible with a straight. The downside is that it takes up a lot of time to shave this way, as well as the maintenance of those blades. When you shave your head, it becomes increasingly difficult to have the time to shave that much area, and the technical skill to shave the back of your head, and around projections like your ears, is considerably higher. Thus, your risk of nicking yourself gets a lot higher, and if you nick yourself, you have to wait for it to heal before you can effectively shave that area again. Electric razors provide a good way to get a shave without the risk of nicking yourself, but they will never be able to provide a shave as close as a straight razor. The nature of how they work will always prevent them from having as close of a shave as a blade against your skin. Thus, I will never rate an electric shaver with 5 star rating, it is simply impossible. That said, the Pitbull Gold is the best electric shaver I have yet used. It is far better than the Remingtons and Norelcos I used years ago, and it is decidedly better in quality than the cheap Chinese head shaver I bought previous to this one. It gets pretty darn close to a blade shave, and the battery lasts forever. It shows you exactly how much charge it has. It is easy to clean, and easy to replace blades. It has a fit and finish that is top of the line. It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. I really have no complaints about this shaver. No, it isn't as close as a straight razor, but it is as close as you can get while guaranteeing that you will not cut yourself. It really is all that!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

A close shave with a pitbull!
I think it's a great product. It's water resistant, easy to clean and easy to use. It also has I little screen that displays the battery level. The only thing is that I think it could of had a bit more power or could grab the hairs better, so only one or two passes would be needed for a clean shave. The old noggin' never looked better.
Okay, I have gone from 12-14 inches of Grey old man hair with full beard that would make Santa jealous, to nothing above the shoulders, hair wise. This is my first experience bald at 69 years old. I have nothing to compare this to except an old school safety razor which is what I used to first come clean. This is much more comfortable. Nothing gets 5* from me but this is pretty close. Not razor close but not a bloody mess either. Truly a smooth safely close shave that suits me. So far everything works as advertised. Could cut closer.
The product is made very well and fits nicely in one’s hand during use. Everything about it professionally done. The power and charging capabilities are great also. The one thing I wish it did is give a closer shave. I know it is not a razor blade but I expected a closer cut than what I experienced so far. I am glad I purchased it. I’ll use it when I need a quick shave or an emergency. I think it will come in handy I guess as I learn to use it more and more maybe you’ll get a closer cut. This works as intended, but is that what YOU intended?
This product is much safer than shaving with a bladed razor, but it doesn't shave nearly as close and it shaves unevenly on even a little bumpy skull. It is also much slower than using a blade. But it is safer. It is also necessary to use shaving cream and water, so you can't really shave while doing something else, like driving the car or watching a movie. I would give it a qualified recommendation only. I believe that it is high quality and hope it is good value. I had a cheap one before this and hoped this would be much better. It is heavier and I think that is a good thing, in that the weight doesn't require much pushing from you. Becaquse it doesn't shave as close as a blade, using it, I must shave every day, or spend an inordinate time shaving when I do. It is much saver, though, and even I, who has been shaving my head for years, would, with a blade occasionately scrape myself. Great head shaver

Quality all around! Makes me forget how much I liked the 'Silver' that I am now replacing. I don't know if I got a defective product or something, but after a month of working great, it suddenly turned on by itself, wouldn't shut off, and when it finally did, it completely died.
