Asus Flip C302ca... Simply Brilliant.
I was a bit unsure about purchasing a Chromebook instead of a full laptop with windows but after analyzing all my actual uses of my dying laptop over the last few years I reached the conclusion that the Chromebook did literally everything I needed and the price point was so low that I could go for a top of the line Chromebook such as the Asus Flip C302. it's well made, attractive, and works wonderfully. It boots super fast and as a great display both as a laptop and as a tablet. The speakers were a surprise as they have great sound and wonderful left/right channel separation easily discernible. It took me a bit to get used to the chrome application but since I was already using the chrome browser on my laptop, once I logged indo chrome, this Chromebook loaded in all my bookmarks, tabs, and passwords right off the cloud,. In other words, I was up and running in less than 5 minutes and literally had to do no more than log in. As a plus I love that you chab charge through either the left or right USB C ports (simply brilliant) and that it has a backlit keyboard.

Good for light to medium tasks,
I installed crouton so I can run Linux kde, giving a lot of flexibility. Really good for light to medium tasks, between chrome os, android, and Linux. Was even able to edit small videos using kdenlive and play dust an Elysian tale on steam, but the processor starts to bog down using lots of video effects or games not quite optimized for series M chips. For example playing Braid wasn't a very smooth experience with lots of lag. I was hoping I could do heavy tasks on this but that's not the case. Should have known better. Otherwise pretty satisfied. Case in point, don't get this if you need a heavy hitter.

ChromeOS is really BEST OS
Bought this from a guy who expected a PC. All of my interaction with work is through online portals, and I knew this touchscreen model could run android apps (as an emulation..?). The touchscreen is responsive and has a nice display. The keyboard is backlit and i wish i could not do a white light, but it is very futuristic. Android apps are kinda clunky, as it is not an android machine, but they work well enough for drawing apps (like Autodesk's). I set mine up to dual boot Gallium OS as well- aside from a speaker driver (pop noise, sometimes) it works beautifully. LAYS FLAT. I had no idea how useful that would be until I could.

Great Chromebook
The previous I had Chromebook was an ASUS c100 flip, this is a great upgrade. I've had some audio jack issues where the headphone audio is significantly quieter but a restart seems to fix it. I was able to install Linux to run alongside ChromeOS which works great. The keyboard light is nice. This is a great high-ish end Chromebook that I definitely recommend.

Very good laptop but the flip tablet part is awkward to hold.
Although I like my chrome book, it is heavier than my iPad and in vertical hold for the touch tablet screen - it is awkward to hold it for playing games. Nevertheless, the clarity of the screen, the long battery life and the amazing quickness and responsiveness to the touch make it the best laptop I have ever had- looking back to the many windows and other laptops I have owned, including my old gaming laptop. Also, Watching streamed videos and downloaded books on this is a pleasure.

Great Chromebook
Light weight, fast, good battery life. What more do you need in a Chromebook. How about a great design and screen. The ASUS c302 has it all. Chrome OS is a bit different but works well and easy to use. Plus you can run Android apps. The best of two operating systems.

2nd Best Chromebook you can buy. The number one Chromebook will cost you twice as much.
The unit we received was defective as it had sound problems. I've had a couple of the Asus Chromebooks and the have been awesome hence the reason for the positive review. I sould have known better to buy an open box unit. I have since returned it and bought a brand new one of the same model.

Great product A+
I am an avid Android user and it was a natural transition to this when my laptop kicked the bucket. It does everything I need and now runs Android apps, so it's much more versatile than the old Chromebooks.

Terrific Chromebook
Another great ASUS product. Thin, light weight and one of very few Chromebooks to has backlit keys, which go dark when not being used so they don't add extra drain on battery. Battery LASTS a long time too. I've always found ASUS computers to be very well built and we'll designed.

Lightweight with great features
As my first Chromebook, it is a great intro to the world without Windows. It is light weight, fast with no delays. One Windows app I use a lot is not available, but work arounds are. Great value for the price.
