Censored but satisfying.
I'm quite partial to the Duke Nukem series, so I tend to enjoy these games in general, though the censorship is what kept this one from getting 5-stars from me. Still a great port of the classic Duke3d, albeit censored, its additional content somewhat makes up for being watered down, from the N64-exclusive weapons, alternate ammunitions, to new and alternate areas of familiar maps to explore. (Explosive shotgun shells are a hoot!) I like the additional feature of saving the babes in the alien pods rather than just hope you don't end up killing them, thus triggering more enemies to spawn, but it would have been nice if there were some kind of bonus incentive involved. I've heard many decry the lack of in-game music, but that just allowed me to play some killer tracks on the old sound system while I blew away hordes of alien baddies! I tend to do this as a matter of course with other games anyway. If you don't have the PC original, and therefore cannot simply download mods to enjoy some of these N64 features, this is a good cartridge to have for any classic console-centric gamer in need of a dose of Duke. Overall, it's a cavalcade of classic macho action fun, that hopefully will see a resurgence in the future. (much sooner than later, I hope...)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

I love this port on the N64!
Ports like Duke Nukem and Doom 64 had their own exclusive look and features. Different guns and 3d explosions and save the babes! Highly recommend to play this or add it to your N64 or Duke Nukem collection.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Best game for n64 so far!
This game is awesome! I wasn’t too picky about how much wear the cart has because as long as it works I think the game is great. The game isn’t as inappropriate as I thought it would be.
