Cheap as a toy, more than a toy, (much) less than a concert instrument
For the price, good for my home playing ... but there are flaws:
* The dynamics. If you set volume to low, you can go from pp to mf. If you set it high, you can go from mf to ff. Don't expect to play ppp or fff, and don't expect pp and ff within one song without messing with the volume control. The response is just very flat.
* Pretty quiet. Good in a small flat (I usually play on 1/2 volume, 1/3 in the evenings when everything is quiet), but I won't take it into noisy pub to play along a friend with guitar. I'd rather take my guitar too :-)
* The piano doesn't sustain tone. Playing Imagine, I don't have to lift the pedal, as at the end of the bar, before playing another chord, the tones of the first chord are almost unhearable.
* It doesn't keep most of the settings over power off. Pretty annoying, as some defaults are plain stupid (like reverb on, high value).
* The communication with the app rather doesn't work than works. I really don't understand why it cannot use USB when it is present ...
* The teaching functions look to me in vain, not much usable. Also, the arrangement of the included songs is very weird.
I don't review accompaniments and tone banks, I don't use it. I just wanted cheap piano. For the abovementioned Imagine, well, okay, it can do. Für Elise? - well, if you don't insist on all the dynamics, it can do too (it even includes it in the song bank). Something like Piano concerto No1 in B minor? - no way.
