Great For the Price
Packaging and Assembly It was shipped in 2 boxes, one for the chair one for the ottoman. Packaging was overall good, with thin plywood on the inside of each box that protect it from getting crushed. The metal base had broken its styrofoam holder and put a very minor dent on the plywood of the backrest. Assembly was not too bad, but I saw no assembly instructions. If solo, budget an hour to assemble and clean up all the packaging. Small individuals may need a 2nd person to attach the back. Construction The Herman Miller original is said to have rubber "shock mounts" on the back portion of the chair that allow the chair to conform slightly to you. This chair only has fixed mounts. Like the original is not adjustable, you only get a swivel base. The chair seems sturdy however, and looks very true to the original design. Plywood Plywood has a very attractive grain, with good finishing. Accurate to pictures. A couple small blemishes if you look close. Upholstery This was advertised as having Italian leather, and while that might be the case, it is not especially supple. The leather surface is very uniform, which makes me suspect a synthetic or highly processed bonded leather. At the very least it seems durable and is not tacky like vinyl. The piping unfortunately seems to be vinyl. Foam padding is fairly firm but comfortable. This gave off a mild smell that has mostly dissipated after a month. Metal pieces: These look attractive, with well polished surfaces. The paint on the bottom legs and brackets seems to be relatively inexpensive, but this shouldn't be a problem in normal use. Overall For the price, quality of this chair is very good and it is comfortable. On the whole I am pleased with this purchase.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very good replica of the real deal.
This is one of the best replicas I've seen of the Eames lounge chair. It has real leather, not the PU leather that some others have. It also has a brushed steel finish on top of the bases for both the chair and the foot stool as the authentic Eames chairs have. Keep in mind that the scale of this chair was designed for the average sized person in the mid 50's, so if you're a little larger you might want to look for the larger scale version.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Outstanding
The quality is outstanding, this is by far the best reproduction out there. The leather is top quality. The details really set this chair apart from the rest. Great Eames Chair!
I've been wanting one for years, and this was the best value! Super comfy, looks to be well made! They even delivered it a week and a half before it was scheduled for delivery. I didn't expect much to be honest. It was 2 weeks late, due to a Chinese holiday, but it genuinely looked just like the pictures, and feels very solid.

Hard to put together, but worth your effort!
We googled to find a kind instruction by a volunteer for putting this chair together. Silver screws did not fit in very well, but fortunately this problem did not affect neither the function nor the appearance of the chair. The perfect chill chair.
I received the chair yesterday and it is perfect. I did a lot of research and wanted one with real leather, Palisander wood, and built with quality hardware and this one stood out above the rest. I am so happy to finally have an Eames chair and it fits well with my hi-fi setup. Great job!

Eames lounge chair and ottoman - black leather and rosewood
This a awesome replica of the iconic chair. I have always wanted this chair and now I have one without breaking the bank. The leather is soft and supple, very sturdy and well built. It doesn’t come with instructions and took about an hour to put together. The back was the hardest to attach to the seat, so you might need an extra set of hands. Beautiful! Worth the savings to build it yourself.
A little awkward to put together and there's no printed instructions but if you have some intuition and a second pair of hands which make mounting the back of the chair onto the seat easier, you'll get there without much hassle. Very comfortable. It doesn't recline or rock but it turns nicely and the seating is firm and supportive. There was a small knick in the wood on the ottoman but that's nothing you can't patch up. Looks great. Everybody who sees it fawns over it.
