Good frequency response for the money and very solid Apple build quality
As you would expect from Apple and good quality product. They are much better quality than they look. Offer a broad range of frequencies for the size; but bit boomy in the lower mids vs a flat curve. To iron out the boom, listening at slight distance seems to allow the sound to unfold more naturally. Amazing!
I paired these Pro Speakers with my iMac G4, and they sound so much better then I ever would have expected. They are superb quality both in build and sound as these were made by Harmon Kardon who Apple partnered with.
