Amazing value
This phone is actually quite amazing. It's pretty responsive and quick with it's Snapdragon 865 and 90 Hz display. Speaking of the display, it is only 1080p but I find that to be more than enough. It's a bit too dim for my liking but is usable in most situations. 90Hz is nice though and is a good medium between high refresh rate and saving battery life. Which is amazing, btw. I've never had this phone die before I've gone to bed, and recently I've been on travels where I'm constantly on data, using max brightness, and it's hot out, and it still performs great. I can expect up to 13 hours of SOT with about 15 or so hours of standby. Along with about 8 hours of SOT with 24 hours of standby. It's amazing. It doesn't charge super fast, though. Definitely the slowest "fast charging" of any modern flagship phone. It does have other cool features like reverse wireless charging which and overcharge protection which makeup for it though. This phone also has a pretty decent camera, I've found that it sometimes struggles with dynamic range and color reproduction but all in all it's decent. It definitely loses out to higher tear phones such as the Galaxy S20 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro Max. I would even say that phones such as the OnePlus 8 Pro and LG V60 have better cameras, but not by much and this definitely has an acceptable shooter. The biggest downfall of this phone is no 4k 60 recording. WHY???? The Isocell HM2 and SD865 are perfectly capable of recording 4k60, yet it's not here. You'll have to stick with 6k30, 4k30, 2k60 or 2k30. Oh well I guess. The phone also has an okay speaker setup, it's nothing that will blow your socks off. I feel like I have to turn the volume all the way up to fully enjoy content on this phone, which is fine, but it's nice to only have to turn the volume half way up to enjoy content such as with the LG V60. Again, oh well. The haptics are nice though, definitely a solid 8/10. Not as good as the iPhones or OnePlus' of the world, but still pretty good. Connectivity and call quality is also decent, but nowhere near as good as my LG V60. This phone doesn't get signal any better than others. It's alright. The LG V60 feels way ahead of this phone in that regard. Overall, I do really like this phone, it has a few setbacks but for $399 it truly is an amazing deal. The LG V60 is the better phone for the money, though. You can get one for ~$350 in decent condition. I would argue that this and the V60 are the best bargains right now in the cellphone world.
