After buying another zev trigger for my latest gen 3 glock and having great as usual results. i bought GLOCKS latest and greatest gen 5 g45 for a roni project. one reviewer said, waste of money, no improvement over stock. incorrect review. I have a trigger scale and test all work before and after. the flat face zev is a very nice fit. feel is great and the results are amazing. Not only is the weight reduced bit the tongue on the stock trigger is intrusive and feels bad. the same part on the zev trigger is invisible as well as a larger flat surface makes for a better shoot.
Quit thinking about getting one and do it. You can thank me later.
This is not to put down or say they are not quality triggers, but in the gen 5 G45 their is no improvement. It is actually worse than factory trigger. The trigger pull was heavier with zev trigger and bar. There was no improvement on take up and reset. Replaced factory trigger bar and it lighten the pull but it was extremely spongy with no improvement on take up and reset, and the wall was gone. Look like everyone else I watch research and gather what info I can before purchasing anything and there is absolutely no improvement only disappointment. If you own a g45 gen 5 me personally would leave it alone.
Great trigger. Nice wide trigger shoe which provides excellent feedback.Shortest takeup I have felt on a striker fired pistol. Mines pulling between 3.25 and 3.5 pounds. For what you get for that price it's worth it.
