Some unexpected bloatware
This device is amazing. I was worried about performance, because everyone kept mentioning it is has a mid-range Snapdragon 640. Let me make this clear - that does not matter. It is so perfectly optimised that it feels like iPhone levels of snappiness. Yes, the camera is as good as everyone says. The dinamic range is simply amazing, focus is incredibly quick and accurate, and Nightsight is just absolutely mind blowing every time. Battery life is great. 6-7 hours screen on time. The vibration motor is amazing. Typing gives these very satisfying little jolts, rather than buzzes. The speakers are fantastic. Period. I love the bezels. The phone is MUCH easier to handle than any other modern phone. The back button isn't so far down, the top of the display isn't so far above, you're never worrying about touching things accidentally, and even so, the display is very generously sized. This is the perfect size and proportion for a phone. My only complaint is the bloatware. There were some funny apps and a wallpaper from Mobilcom. The box seals were cut and Mobilcom seals pasted over them. This is kind of disappointing, seeing as it was meant to be a closed box. Even so, the whole reason I bought a Google phone is to get away from the usual useless crap. Nonetheless, it was easy to uninstalkand return the phone to its pure factory form. Overall, this is the perfect phone, and that's the end of it. You might find better displays, better battery life, faster performance, but nothing as balanced and usable as this.
