Brave trainers once again face off against wily rivals and hunt for rare, wild pocket monsters in this quest to put a stop to the destructive expansion of Team Magma and Team Aqua. Following a tradition established back in the later days of the original Game Boy, the GBA's Pokémon Emerald is, in essence, an enhanced version of Pokémon: Ruby and Pokémon: Sapphire, with many similar settings and features and the ability to link with either previous game. Emerald is also compatible with the other Pokémon releases in its generation, including Pokémon: FireRed, Pokémon: LeafGreen, and the GameCube's Pokémon Colosseum.

It's Pokemon Emerald.
I have a lot of great memories of playing Pokemon Emerald with my cousins and I'm happy to have it again. Pokemon Emerald plays out a bit differently from Ruby and Sapphire and it takes some adds some extra features such as moving entry sprites, additional Pokemon, and an updated Pokenav.

one of the better pokemon games
I love this game. I had it before and my daughter lost it. we had all the pokemon that you can catch from leaf green/fire red to emerald. we caught and traded pokemon between ruby, sapphire, leaf green, fire red, and emerald until we had all that could be caught. the only ones we did not have are the one that you could only get at Nintendo events. here's a tip for those who play this game, do not use the MASTERBALL when you get it,,SAVE IT... after you beat the elite 4 at the end of the game and you reach the "Battle tower" there is a "clone cheat" where you can clone your pokemon and if your pokemon is holding an item(such as a MASTERBALL) it will clone the pokemon and the item. then you can go after the Legendary pokemon that are impossible to catch. if you don't know the cheat you can search on youtube or google.

Still One of the Best Pokemon Games.
Pokemon Emerald version is the definitive pokemon game for the gameboy advanced. The 3rd generation of games in the series had Ruby and Sapphire versions, Emerald taking the best of both games and mashing them into one cart. It's also fully compatible with both Ruby and Sapphire, as well as FireRed and LeafGreen, so you can trade and battle with all 5 games. A big draw to the gba games was the updated graphics compared to the previous games. You're headed to a new town, fresh off the moving truck and you find yourself neighbors with the region's Pokemon Professor and their kid, who will be either a boy or girl depending on what you chose when you started. Right away the world is beautiful and only gets better as you explore the region. The music for these games is also incredible and pretty unique even compared to the newest Pokemon games. Cons: I really only have one major con to these games: The games are old, released originally in 2004, and the game's clock runs off a battery that is most likely dried up by now. The battery only affects time related events, like berry plants growing, clocks telling time and other small events that can sometimes leave you without items you might want. Nothing important, but it's annoying. You can get batteries pretty easily, but you have to solder a new one in, which can potentially ruin the cart if you're not careful.

Great game!
The game is great! It was in my line up of beating all the Pokemon games and so I decided to purchase it here. Anyways, the product is absolutely great - it was much better than what I expected. For a very cheap price, it came not only in perfect condition with the game itself looking polished and clean, but also came with a little case to keep it in! An amazing deal and would definitely recommend buying. Otherwise, the game is very fun, and a must play if you're the competitive sort who needs to beat all the Gens.

Pokemon Emerald
The original is just way to expensive, it's around $50, this is a much better option if you want the full authentic game play of pokemon emerald. Buy this if you want to play on a real device. You can get the rom and play it on your phone or computer but it doesnt feel natural, this is the best cheap authentic option out there.

Excellent!
The game arrived exactly as shown. It is new however it don't come with the actual game case. It works great. I have already beaten the game with no glitches or anything. Amazing price also. This game is usually $56 at game exchange for a USED one. This one is NEW and I only paid $12. Also being out dated this game is extremely hard to find even more so at a great price. Very happy with my purchase!

Much better than expected. Best bootleg.
For the price, it was obviously going to be a bootleg. I was a bit worried because bootlegs of gen3 can be a bit rough with the fact that most don't have working clocks. This version was actually incredibly well made. I was almost convinced it was real at first. The cartridge is very nice, the sticker looks great, the clock works, and everything seemed perfect. There's of course a few tiny details that make it clearly a bootleg on closer inspection, but they're not a big deal. What I find most impressive is that the game appears to have been patched to where the clock "works" but only while the game is running. So timed things still occur, berries still grow. It's not a perfect solution, but it works much better than expected. Hopefully I can find a Fire Red that's this good as well.

Good value for the price
It might be a reproduction, but it seems to be a pretty good one. I opened the cartridge to see that there is no battery inside. But the clock works, so it must have a workaround. I do not have any of the other games in this generation, so I haven't been able to test trading yet. I would be very happy if trading and transfer work properly. I have been able to save and load this on my hardware successfully, so far I have not encountered any glitches, but I have not gotten very far into the game.

Pokémon Fan's delight
Love all the rare items (especially the key items that let you go to Navel Rock and Faraway Island). Has all of the Pokémon. Works perfectly, looks great, and sounds great. A bit more than I usually pay for a video game, but it's worth it if you're a huge Pokémon fan because of all the rare stuff!

Nostalgic and great gameplay
This was my first experience with the pokemon games growing up. Generation 3 is my favorite! I've been looking for my copy of it around my house at least twice every year and I finally decided to spoil myself. Thank you for giving me my nostalgic memories in a hard copy form!
