By decoding five discrete audio channels, plus a separate subwoofer channel for dynamic low bass performance, Dolby Digital delivers crisp dialogue, breathtaking movement across the soundstage, and thunderous special effects. DTS Digital Decoder DTS (Digital Theater Systems) is an established digital multichannel audio format found mostly in movie theaters. Dolby Pro Logic Processor decodes 2-channel Dolby Surround-encoded into 4 discrete channels (left, center, right, surround), creating a movie theater-like surround experience in the home. Virtual Dolby Surround electronically simulates/creates a rear sound field when you have no rear speakers. Digital AM/FM Stereo Tuner processes FM and AM radio broadcasts digitally, locking in on the signal for less drift and reduced distortion. Variable Delay Time level adjusts the surround sound to match your listening room and speaker setup. Synchronizes the arrival of sound from Front, Center and Rear speakers, for Dolby Pro Logic reproduction. S-Link Control System enables compatible Sony components to communicate with each other. This function is required for such special features as CD Synchro Record. Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) recreates different sonic environments, simulating the acoustics of locations like arenas, churches, and clubs. Simulated surround systems create a phantom center channel, expand the front left and right channels and place virtual surround speakers around you, simulating the effects of a multichannel system. Pink Noise Generator allows for proper speaker balancing. It sends a static noise signal, in turn, to each channel, allowing you to adjust each channel's level and volume for the size of your environment and your listening preferences. perfect for a tv amplifier
perfect for a tv sound amplifier. My friends needed something to give then better sound than the TV speakers. We combined this with some auto 6x9s and it's just fine. They're in their 70s and don't need or want surround sound as their home is small, and this fits the bill perfectly for them. Sony AM/FM Receiver STR-DE445
This a Really Awesome Receiver. Works very well with Blu-ray players that have Coaxial Audio or optical hook up and works great with Blu-ray disc that have dts 5.1 or 7.1 audio. And Dvds that 5.1 Channel Audio. Or dts audio Dvds this hands down a great Receiver for the money you pay. Didn't work properly
When I got it out of the box the cord was partially severed and it would not turn on. I replaced the cord but it still has a short in it and kicks on and off. I should have sent it back but it wasn't worth the hastle.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
