The addictive gameplay of Bookworm Deluxe! combines elements of Boggle and Scrabble. Players try to score points by connecting lettered titles, randomly placed on the playfield, to form words. If no words can be created, the tiles can be scrambled for a new layout. However, scrambling the tiles too often will create fire tiles that will burn down the library should they reach bottom. Once a word has been submitted, Lex the bookworm will eat the word and dole out fresh letters to replace the missing ones. Extra points can be scored by spelling bonus words, and by forming words with the green and gold tiles.Product Identifiers

FUN
I have had this game on my desktop and laptop for years. But with new computers my license would not be recognized so I purchased the disc. Game works great once it is loaded and it works on Win 10 after a few extra steps. Once the disc is loaded go to 'file explorer' in the start menu. You should find Bookworm listed and click on it if not click on the disc drive in which the disc was loaded. Once open click on the 'application file and run it, the game will now load. Bookworm Deluxe not the latest version 1.13
No where on the box or the disc is it stated to be 'Bookworm Deluxe Version 1.03'(see attachment 1). I had to buy it and then download it to my computer to find out that it was Version 1.03 and not the later Version 1.13. Imagine how dissapointed I was to pay for an older Version when a newer Version is available. I previously owned Version 1.13 (See attachment 2 ) from PopCap but lost it when my computer crashed. I was hoping to recover the later version from eBay and trusted the seller to sell the latest version or at least state what version they were selling. Version 1.13 (see attachment 2, extreme upper left hand corner) is superior in that you can make longer words and play for days (after you have mastered the game). This cannot be done with Version 1.03. I will keep this version, but will contact PopCap to search the latest version! More transparency is required from sellers on eBay!! GJ Chavez

Love Word Games? You Have Got to Play This one!
I remember playing this game years ago and loved it as I am a fan of word games. I am glad I have found it so I can play it again whenever I want to, and it is challenging as well. There are levels and it is challenging the higher up you go. Works on Windows 10 as well, and finding old games that can play on Windows 10 is kind of difficult. quality product
i had this years ago and loved it- somewhere along the line it was lost- i was so happy to find it for sale on ebay- it so easy to install with the enclosed directions- - i was able to do it myself-i use it without the sound because the background music is annoying- i think this is a wonderful game for elderly folks because it makes you think and that helps to stall off senility according to things i have read on the on the internet- it is also fun and a challenge to keep trying to get a higher score-Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Windows 10 Bookworm Deluxe
It was for Windows 10. I had a problem loading it, but I fixed it I have loved this game for about 10 years and still love it today. Very hard to find one that I can just download and play. My dad and I have been in competition and he lives about 400 miles from me.I think now that I have my own game, I'm ahead for a change. Finally!
I purchased Bookworm online from Yahoo years ago for my mom, too many to remember. After several computer changes, I was unable to download it anymore. The places online wanted a monthly fee & after searching, the computer became plagued with viruses. So after a scrubbing of the computer, I went onto eBay & found it! Amazing
Played this game when it came out, I was only 9 at the time but I loved it, word games like these are great. I've been wanting to play it for awhile now and mustered up the energy to do so. It was a little costly for an old game but definitely worth it. It's everything I remember the game being, even the horrible 2006 graphics, but that's what makes it worth it. Fun game

Book Worm Delux

Love the game!!
Anyone who likes to play word games would definitely like this game. It's challenging to your brain. You can get away with a few 3 letter words but then here comes the firey tiles that you need to find a word in order to put the fire out, if you choose too short of words then you get more firey tiles and sometimes more than one.
