Fantastic Unit
The Surround Sound is awesome, scenes where there are gunfire it sounds like bullets are bouncing off the ceiling. Unit is manufactured in Malaysia, which in my view is WAY better than being made in china as far as quality & reliability.

Go Yamaha!
I broke my foot several weeks ago and needed a cheer me up, Yamaha did just that! Setup was easy and the sound is great still learning what all it can do. Impressive Build, Lacking Sound Quality
This series is the best quality build i have seen from any brand. Remote is easy, perfect and backlit. On screen setup was very easy to program and understand. But then i spent days trying to get the sound right. It is a dull sound, no crisp vibrant clear tones like my $350 Sony i was replacing. Without a perfect sound i have no use for this receiver. Great Receiver
I love this unit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great receiver. It has met all my expectations and more. It is difficult to set up. The owners manual is online. I have spent multiple hours trying to setup in 5.1.2 mode with zone 2 speakers - not working
