Works very well with Samsung Sound Bar
Works very well with HW-Q60T 5.1 Surround Bar. Was initially concerned based on past reviews about low volume, but everything worked well right out of the box. Difference is like night and day. Current firmware may have resolved previous issues mentioned in other reviews. My older Samsung TV did not have ARC HDMI port, so I used optical cable, and set TV output to 2:5 to get best sound from TV - Standard or PCM setting just washed out voice range. Samsung back speaker kit
Blue tooth products are easy to set up anyway and this is no exception, especially if you have the same brand name sound bar. It took some learning to set the sound level, had to go to internet to find these directions as it wasn’t in directions w back speaker set. Note, only goes up to level ‘6’. The sound bar iverpowers the back speakers and so can’t hear them well. Now am researching Tv sound settings to force the back speakers to higher sound level than 6. Design is nice however. Know also that these aren’t fully wireless. The speakers are connected to a box, the box is wireless but the speakers are connected to the box with wires. Had to drill holes in the floor so wires aren’t showing across the wall. They are cute little speakers though. Nice speakers in the right situation
The pros: nice design, plug and play setup, does turn my 3.1 sound bar into true 5.1. The cons: even with level set to max (+6) they can't be heard beyond about 4 feet, speakers are not wireless (just the receiver). Conclusions: They do improve the Samsung Sound Bar experience, but they are best suited to use in a smaller space, unless you will be seated close to the rear speakers.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good choice for a small space.
Overall a nice design. It’s easy to hide the wires coming from the base unit. And they’re long enough to reach a good distance for decent speaker separation. Big sound? Great Value for what you get
It took longer to receive the speakers than stated. It was only one extra day though. The value to quality is excellent. The sound isn’t explosive but does make a difference. I would recommend these surround speakers as an addition to the sound bar.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Samsung Surround Home Speakers SWA-8500S/ZA Review
The set is a combination of wired and wireless. The system is wireless from the soundbar to the rear station, but wired from the rear station to the left and right rear speakers. This may or may not work out very well depending on your setup. If you have a living room and want to hang the speakers on the wall, it may be a little hard to hide the wires. On the other hand, if you have a bunch of shelving and other items on the back wall, hiding the wires should be easy. How do the experience do they add? A ton, they’re great. When you initially plug them in, you might find them slightly underwhelming. One of the problems you may have, depending on your room, is that they might be too soft. Luckily, you can adjust them pretty easily to be louder through an option on the soundbar. The Samsung SWA-8500S/ZA is an excellent rear speaker solution for those looking to expand your soundbar sound to a higher level. Excellent value
I’m so glad that I didn’t listen to the negative reviews about lack of sound, difficulty with setup, or those that just flat out didn’t know how to increase rear speaker volume. These speakers were a fantastic addition to my Samsung sound bar. Not nearly as powerful of a setup as my 600w Yamaha complete sound system was but, there are soooo many less wires and speaker clutter. For me, less is more now and I’m good with the trade off.

Decent speakers with nice surround sound
Overall, I am pleased with these speakers. They add decent surround sound and are compatible with my older (2016) Samsung sound bar, which the newer ones are not. Decent sound, under the right circumstance
I hooked it up and had to fiddle with quite a few settings to get sound to come out loud enough to hear from my couch, and it sounds great when the media playing has the proper surround sound audio to feed it. And even now, some setting got changed and I've lost most of the sound from the rear speakers, I just haven't spent the time to get it back to normal yet. Smaller than expected, so your room is not cluttered.
For its price the sound is great. These are smaller than expected, the front is the same size as a 3x5 index card. The Samsung SWA-8500S rear speakers added to the Samsung Sound Bar HW-M550, it becomes true 5.1 sound, which really pulls it together. I like no messy wires (as with an a/v receiver system), and small speakers which do not make your room look like a stereo store. No extra shelf space taken up with this unit. Sound quality is acceptably good. No doubt the bigger, more expensive systems will sound better, but this strikes a high value point for sure.
