Does what it's supposed to.
Easy to install. I chained it to the RV's house battery and it just adds to the bank. I already have a solar panel but do not want to mess with the existing wiring so I just use an DC/AC inverter to charge the Zeti. Not the most efficient set up but it works just fine so far. I use it mostly to run the small swamp cooler to keep my passengers in the RV's middle cool b/c the cab ac does not reach that far back.

On the go power
If your ever in the need of on the go power this unit is it ....... so many features and quality and it's quite and solar capable what more could u ask for..... it's a little pricey but it's worth every penny in my opinion is would also buy the bigger until even if three times the price...... so worth it.

I use it to run an AeroGarden and use a combo of the charger and 50 watt solar panel to recharge. Well built and has worked well in the first 10 days of use.

Great portable battery powered generator
I have been using a lot of different kinds of power storage devices. So far, Goal Zero Yeti 400 exceeded all my expectations. They say Goal Zero is expensive, but the quality is what you are paying for.

Amazing product, a must for any Prepper!!!
I am impressed with the overall design and how well it's engineered. The reason I purchased the Goal Zero 400 was due to random power outages where I live. I use a CPAP machine when I sleep so when the power goes out I am looking for a battery I used for back up which powers my CPAP for a few hours. Since I got the Goal Zero 400, I plug directly into unit 100% of the time. This way I never have to worry about power loss. With a full charge I got three nights or 15 hours of CPAP run time before the Yeti reached 40%, impressive! I have a charger plugged into Goal Zero keeping the unit at 100% charge state all the time. Years ago I enjoyed camping, now with the Goal Zero I can camp and run my CPAP while off grid using Solar Panels. It was money well spent.

Yeti 400 Brings Primative Camp ito the 21st Century
This is the second Yeti 400 we have purchased for our primitive camp with no electricity. We use 4 solar panels to charge the unit and it provides power for our LED lights at night, power to charge phones, tablets and computers. It is heavier than you would expect because of the battery, but once you know this, it is not an issue. The nice thing about the Goal Zero products is that they are plug and play and come with everything you need.

Does everything it is intended to.
Just pay attention to your max wattage per port. If you overload it will shut down. Know what you plan to use and get the model that is appropriate and you will be very happy with this rugged unit.

Yeti 400
This thing is handy. I love its quiet and efficient. I have a solar panel to charge it and it works wonderful as well. Its great because it emits no sound and is very low mantainence. It is heavy but I could care less. Its lighter than most ( if not all) gas powered generators. I dont have the need for the power output of a gas generator when I camp as I dont use a trailer.

Lacking the power listed
NEW, and with a FULL charge under its belt, it dissipates the "WH" way faster than listed. For the price of $449, this is NOT, a good value. If it was $125 or $150, then maybe. It is listed as 300W, but attaching a TV drawing (according to the manufacturer's specs) 185W, it took less than 3 minutes to bring it down to the 60% bar mark. Again, this is NEW, out of the box, after giving a 24-hour full charge.

Excellent Product!!!!!!
I have a simulated colored fire machine that contains 5 separate lights and 3 fans. This power station runs machine for 7 hours on a full charge. That's all I have plugged into it. Excellent product!!! Very easy to use!!!!!!
