I replaced a SB Titanium card with this, thought it'd be a major step up but to be honest I'm not super impressed. I don't use the mic part so maybe I'm missing out but games and music sound very similar to what I had. Not awful but kind of disappointed, wouldn't really recommend if your happy with sound you currently have. The add-on volume knob is off too, only lowers the sound, on my desk but yet to need it. Glorious sound. A little glitchy install. Sound Blaster Commander software saved the day
