Deadwood Rides once again!
A finely scripted conclusion to the Deadwood series, with enough flashbacks to remind one of the years past events. Most of all the original actors with all the same personality strengths and weaknesses as before. Any true Deadwood Fan won’t be disappointed.

All time favorite
My all-time favorite series. Was skeptical about the movie, but credit to all involved, they moved the story forward and closed out some major plotlines in a wholly satisfying manner. A fantastic conclusion to a brilliant show.

An excellent movie the presents a strong finish to the series.
Deadwood was cancelled prematurely after 3 seasons because of a network decision. After more than a decade the cast was reassembled for this 2 hour movie. Events that were not resolved at the end of season 3 are brought to satisfying conclusion. Fans of the series will likely be very happy with the efforts of everyone involved in this movie. Sets, story lines, costumes, music and drama are presented with the same commitment that made the original series so brilliant and unforgettable. There are some bittersweet storylines and not everyone will feel all happy after it's over. I'm really glad this movie was able to be made and I recommend it to all Deadwood fans. People not familiar with the series will still be able to enjoy the movie but it will be much more meaningful for those who were watching from the beginning.

DW-the movie!
Despite the timeline posting this episodic period piece 10 years from the ending of last show; the characters have all aged well and readily resume their influence through each character! Not for the faint of heart this true to life western captures still the flavor of those frontier boom town times!

Good finish
This movie finishes the interrupted story on the HBO series, albeit a few years down the road. It does answer some questions & reunites you with some of your favorite characters.

You must watch 3 season Deadwood first. The HBO movie was a way to end the series with same characters years later.

DEADWOOD A GREAT WESTERN
ONE OF THE BEST WESTERN SERIES EVER. CHARACTERS INTERESTING UNIQUE AND COMPLEX. SHOWS WESTERN LIFE IN A LAWLESS TERRITORY IN THE LATE 1800S. WRITERS MIXED REAL CHARACTERS OF THE PERIOD AND FICTIONAL ONES THEY MADE UP. GREAT SERIES GIVE IT A TRY.

Deadwood 16 years later
I’m a big Deadwood fan so of course I loved it…. I just thought Trixie and Star would of been married with a baby on the way a while before that…. Very dramatic
