Good headphones with great features
I like how they fit over my big head. I like how you don't have to worry about charging them and can just swap out batteries and that the transmitter is also the charger. I like how the mic is retractable. For someone who only voice chats rarely, this is least intrusive. As far as I can tell, the sound quality is great. The only issue I've had is that once the transmitter is connected to your PC, you can't just turn off your headphones to go back to PC speakers. However, setting hotkeys to switch sound devices via audioswit.ch/er honestly makes thing even easier. Cheapest I've found here and so far totally worth.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Uncomfortable ear cups and tight around the head
So far, the wireless performance has been excellent. As a "refurb" the price for these seems fair. If I paid full retail I would have returned my set. For a teen or a woman these may be comfortable but if you are a large man with a big head like I am, I would pass on these. As a side note, on the controller unit their is an On/Off setting for Dolby. My controller just has O/O illuminated. This may be reason they were returned in first place. I just selected the "O" on the left to turn on Dolby and am done with it. "Refurb" means send it back out again until someone decides to keep it. The concept, the subdued style and the control unit with a spare battery are major moves forward in wireless headsets. If they were more comfortable I would be extremely pleased. Great headset
These sound amazing in games, especially with the virtual surround sound turned on. The range is pretty bad, the mic is alright, but there is nearly no latency so I can forgive the low range. If you aren't using these mainly for playing video games, they are not the headphones for you. Great wireless headset

Everything Its Cracked Up To Be
The published reviews of this headset are so positive, that they are almost unbelievable. Happy to report that all the hype is true. These are really an amazing piece of technology. I am fan of Sony headsets (because they are really good!) but I have to admit the SteelSeries are superior. Sound quality as good as studio cans and a microphone that is better than any I have ever used. There is no lag and the range is good. Like all the professional reviews say, there are just no better headsets than these. This is truly a case of buy once - cry once. Terrible ear piece H-800

Upgraded my headset
