Good with a bit of work
Came smelling like a musty old church or similar, initially giving concerns about water damage. I still need to take it apart to check for anything concerning but this one seemed to have been stored in less than optimum conditions. Firmware was out of date and initially Mac detected it as a keyboard (as in typing!). Once connected to Logic constantly disconnected and reconnected. To the point of being useless. Firmware update took several attempts. Preset manager refused to work. The issue came down to the m-audio USB cable! Replaced with a good Edirol one, removed from MIDI devices and suddenly it became fault free. The keyboard feels pretty good with a nice positive action. All works as it should. Fader issues seem minimal or resolved after firmware update and USB change. Have one drum pad which is a little bit dicey if used rapidly but overall I like it! It seems many of the problems with these comes down to m-audio shipping a rubbish USB cable!

Not simple to use, good keys though
The keys on the keyboard have a good real piano feel, but the way you control it is an absolute nightmare, you would need to be a real geek in midi setting and have a strong parameter knowledge , that's why It went straight back, its not that it was cheap that led me to buy it in the first place, I thought it would simply work any DAW out of the box, no this is not the case, it will only move a number of basic parameters, your left on your own to figure other settings out, my advice, don't buy I, spend more money on an Akai product instead.

Almost like New
Box was a bit worn out, but apart from that, everything else is working just like new! There was some issues with the USB cable, but I called M-Audio who shipped out a new cable the next day free of charge. Overall, very impressed.
