An adventure based closely on the Miyuki Miyabe novel and animated film. You play as an original main character who lost his mother at a young age, suffered memory loss from the shock, and was put in a hospital. Now 18, you travel into a special world apart from reality in an attempt to recover your lost memories. Wataru is the main character from the novel, and by selecting him as your partner character, you end up playing through an arranged version of the original storyline. Selecting Mitsuru puts you on an all new storyline prepared especially for the game. As you travel to the fantastic places and meet the fantastic characters of the special world, you explore complex dungeons. These require that you use the stylus to solve puzzles. The stylus is used to slide levers, rotate the dials of a lock, and move pieces of puzzles into place.
