Best action and samples
The RH3 hammer action of the Korg D1 is worth the price of the instrument, and the samples (particularly the pianos, electric pianos and the jazz organ) are particularly great, especially when compared to the Casio PX-360 I have been playing at home and at gigs. The keyboard is as portable as it can be given that the RH3 mechanism is inherently heavier. The D1 does not have a USB connection, but it has MIDI in and out which can be adapted to USB, and it does not have an easy way to set or to keep settings of tones or other parameters, but of course I can use the keyboard as a MIDI controller through a computer to get that functionality, and I still have the incalculable value of the RH3 action available to me.
