Small, versatile and works well. Usability can be improved.
Using it mostly in RX mode. I have need to use it over distance so I can't say much about usable range. Pros: - works well - pairs easily and stays connected - good sound - latency is conveniently low (didn't try it with sync'ed video though) Cons: - Seems that it doesn't have an auto off feature when not paired for a long time. So leaving it on usually means finding it drained next time you need it. - To make things worse, low-battery is indicated by a very intrusive and frequent interruption of audio by an alert tone. This makes it practically unusable as soon as the battery is low even if it still has some life in it. - Operation of the power button and status LED (single blue/red) isn't intuitive at all, I can't seem to memorize it. Fortunately usually you just need to turn the thing on and it works. LED isn't easily observable if the power button isn't directly facing you.

Hard to setup but works great after!
Used this to pair to a UE Boom Bluetooth speaker. Setup was not easy at all. Took literally 20 pairing attempts to pair. There is a conflict between their YouTube video & their website instructions. Despite all that unit works great connecting an older GE radio to my speaker from 35 feet away in a different room.

A great BT transceiver; reliable, with very good performance.
The best I have found of this type of device. This is the second Taotronics TT-BA07 that I own, and it performs just as well and is as reliable as the first one. It pairs seamlessly with ALL of my Bluetooth devices and has very minimal audio 'lag' (especially when paired with another device that has Bluetooth 5.0 and the A2DP profile). Battery life is very good, and it charges relatively quickly. The price makes it a very good value.

Keep battery charged
My first one after 3 years exhausted its battery. Just left in the car for extended periods and that was not good. Instructions did say you got to periodically keep battery full charge. This one was more fussy in getting the bluetooth to pair. As with tech that is kinda of no surpricse. Like the size and it fits in a cubby. Price was great and was concerned if this is a genuine product and looks exactly like my first one. Looks improved for detecting recievers a lot more distant than just in the car.

Sound all over the place (Paired TX to 2 devices in a snap)
I have a Victrola 8-in-1 that has Bluetooth in but no Bluetooth out. I wanted to pair it with my home stereo in one room and a Soundbar setup in another room. With this Bluetooth Transmitter/ Receiver, I was able use it in Transmitter mode to pair with both systems. I can now have either one or both on and have the audio out as provided by the headphones jack on my Victrola playing in either or both rooms. Some people have complained about pairing and especially pairing to two devices. My suggestion is follow the directions closely and when you try to pair to the second device, have the first device turned off during the pairing. Once paired to the second device, turn the first one back on to have both working. Enjoy!

Back to the TV speakers.
I'm not a techy but this sounded easy. Right? Wrong. I fooled with this thing for four hours. All I accomplished was I no longer was able to use our sound bar. We now are back to the TV speakers and that's what I wanted to eliminate. The directions for this re unclear at best. I don't reccommend this unless you are more savvy than the average 65 year old.

excellent Bluetooth transmitter for metal detector.
Purchased this transmitter / receiver to use on my metal detector and it hooked up with my earbuds almost instantly after charging. The instructions say to fully charge before using for the first time and the unit came partially charged because it only took 45 minutes to fully charge. I followed the instructions and it connected almost immediately tried the detector out and it works great ! as for longevity i will have to see since i haven't had it for long but so far i am very happy with it.

A must have for old music players and headphones
I am using this bluetooth transmitter and receiver with Creative Labs Nomad Zen Extra player and old Ipad mini. I also use the receiver to pair my Macbook Pro with wired headphones. This product is easy to use and performs well every time.

Good for most things, bad if you're listening to quiet audio
I think for most people's typical use cases this product works well. I like that the audio is modular instead using a permanently attached cable since that's usually the first thing to break on similar models. Unfortunately this model is not good for playback of quiet audio, particularly ambient sounds or things like ASMR. In transmitter mode the hardware seems to be designed with some kind of hard cutoff: when the audio drops below a certain decibal level it simply transmits silence. This results in audio with intermittent dropouts which is very distracting. Again, music and podcasts generally don't have this problem. I hope they can fix this in a future revision.

Works Great with AirPod Pros in Transmit mode.
This bluetooth device works really well as a Transmitter. I use it with my AirPods on airplane flights to avoid the cord hanging between me and the audio connection. It connects easily when you follow the directions explicitly. I have tried other less expensive Bluetooth Transmitters, but they had trouble pairing with my AirPod Pros. I did not try it in Receive mode.
