Works for me
I did not realize it had a 3 pin plug, and am using it on a older Dell. Using the tip of an exacto knife I raised the tabs and slipped out the metal clips on both my old battery and this one. I clipped the white wire, and inserted the black and red into the plug shell from my old one. Works great, fixed BIOS resetting on reboot/removal of laptop battery.
This battery works great; it fixed the BIOS resetting when I removed the main laptop battery when it was unplugged. These laptops are older but I hate to throwaway good hardware and it end up in the landfill. CMOS battery
Installed it into my laptop, reset laptop date and time, did a restart, and it is holding bios setting ok, so is a good battery. Reasonable price. How long will it hold a charge? Don't know yet. This new cmos battery is yellow instead of my old dead blue one.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
