So good, I want a Sloppy Jose!
This movie is most excellent!! The 3 disc collector's edition includes many behind the scenes footage that shows the real nature of the actors out of character. aAwesome and serious fun to watch and see my friends' reactions! My girlfriend hates it and wouldn't even watch it. My buddy, Henry, his wife loves it! Im kinda jealous, maybe I need to get a new gf who appreciates, acknowledges and respects the finer films. I normally don't like musicals, but this sure did surprise me! Somewhat catchy tunes. The acting is better than I had expected and everything has a connection to the fast food chains (Arby, Denny, Wendy, Paco Bell, Jarred, ect...). The plot of this film is solid and doesn't veer off. There is SOOO much going on in Poultrygeist that you would be on the edge of your seat at times and never bored! It does have a few slow serious sentimental songs, I see it as an opportunity to use it as a breather, maybe to get something to drink. The humor is pretty good, but when I make references to this movie, unfortunately most people haven't seen it. The blood, chicken stuff and zombies are top grade, especially since this movie probably came out at the beginning of the current zombie kick that everyone seems to be on lately. It is a low budget B movie, but don't let that stop you from watching it!! It definitely surpasses most higher budget movies. I would recommend this film to people who want to gross their grandmothers out, or maybe leave it in the guest bedroom dvd player when your mother-in-law comes to town. I would also recommend this movie to people who like surprises and like to have fun. I would not recommend this to anyone who is a stick in the mud, as they would probably get sick to their stomachs and then you'll have a mess to clean up. I grade this film an A+. Poultrygeist 3 disc dvd set
