Great look 60052 Lego cargo train
I mostly bought this set 60052 for the diesel engine. Most Lego Cargo train sets look very European. In contrast, this engine design is very American. The details are amazing. The color scheme pleasing. I love watching it go around the tracks.The track layout comes with 2 switch tracks for added fun. My favorite car is the cattle car. The hay, milk bucket and long horned cow are all mesmerizing to look at. To be honest though, I don't like that a train engineer is not included. The cargo station train crane is flimsy and the motion is not smooth. It's light weight, it will fly off the tracks is run too fast. This train is battery operated by a power functions remote control. The engine takes 6 AAA batteries and the remote takes 3. I miss the old 9V electric 120V supplied trains. Batteries wear out, they corrode etc. However, I can appreciate how the remote can operate multiple trains even on the same track, you can't do that with electric.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Bang! For your buck $
I did a bit of research comparing this set to the high speed passenger train and the heavy hall train which are currently readily available at different stores and he's what I came up with. The heavy haul train has more straight train track pieces compared to the other two as well as more pieces but it's also the most expensive (200-250). The passenger train looks great but with the small amount of track , small selection of figures and the power functions motor being housed in One of the cars the playability is reduced to two cars. This cargo train gives you a locomotive which houses the power functions motor and receiver. The 3 cars are of varying lengths and Give a good amount of playability. The set comes with a good amount of track including and left and a right switch track (unlike the other train sets). Most of the set feels sturdy. The only part that is gentle is the crane especially the part that rolls across the top. I'd recommend this set to anyone buying it at full price $200 but especially if you can get it for less it's a no brainer.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great-Grandson's delite!
This set is really complete and the 10 year old had it put together in one sitting. He really thinks it is great, wishing only that it came with head lights. Something I think we can fix. Lego is awesome!
Bought it for a Christmas gift and it is perfect! The blue train set is getting harder to find and Target has it for its MSRP not some crazy "retired kit" price like a few other sites. Lego City Cargo Train 60052

Wonderful Christmas Present for 6 yr old.
I purchased this for my 6 yr old grandson for Christmas. He was delighted and I was too. This past weekend we sat down to assemble some of the components. Each component comes with it's own package and instructions. So its easy to start and complete the component and save the others for later. There are extra parts or spares of the piece most frequently lost or broken, so the fun can continue. The instructions are illustrated and he could follow them without a lot of my help. Wonderful
Excellent Lego train HOWEVER if your train won't work, you may need to fiddle with the connectors. Don't use Duracell batteries, they are too small, and push out the connecting parts so the train will run. We thought we would have to request a new one but found other people with the same problem using an online search. Very glad the instructions worked on how to fix it. Something to make note of in case you have the same issue. It isn't the battery, it's the connections. The Lego train itself is a great build with fun accessories. Some of the bags ARE opened
I received this LEGO train set and 4 of the LEGO bags have been previously opened. The bags are rolled and sealed with scotch tape. I am unsure why they are like this since they are advertised as being “sealed”. I have not finished the set, but have not had any missing pieces as of yet.
