Compact, attractive, rapid brewer. Could not ask for anything better.
This model replaces an almost identical Braun coffee maker we had for about 30 years. An electronic part stoped functioning, and no replacement was available. Coffee is available within a few minutes of starting the maker. Cleaning is a snap. A minor concern is that I like my coffee very hot, so I zap a cupful in my microwave for a few seconds. Great Braun coffee maker

Simplicity personified
Why coffee makers have to be so complicated and therefore so overpriced is beyond me. This discontinued Braun plain vanilla coffee maker is our favorite. Nothing to program. One choice for brewing. 190+ temp generated. Add a nice substantial unbleached Melita #4 filter, freshly ground coffee such as Don Pablo's Arabica with filtered water then topped with half&half, a touch of turbinado raw sugar and you have just created an outstanding cup o' Joe. We've had 3 of these basic Brauns over the last 20 yrs. The German followed by the Mexican versions appear to be the best quality. Braun, bring it back. The essence of a coffee maker. Aesthetics meets function and it is not an Apple product! Makes perfect coffee at the right temperature (with Garunda blend beans from Peets Coffee and a Krups grinder). No gimmicks, just one switch. Great Product/Not on the General Market Anymore
