This package bundles two murder mystery-themed puzzle games that first became popular on the Internet. Not unlike the guessing stage of the board game "Clue," the object of "Inspector Parker" is to place suspects and weapons in their proper rooms to help Scotland Yard solve the crime. The games are played on a cut-away view of an old English Manor, with various "rooms" forming a grid. Guesses are best made through a process of elimination, but hints displayed on the right of the screen, indicating the positions of certain objects and suspects relative to one another, help logical thinkers to reconstruct each crime scene with confidence.<br><br>"Inspector Parker in Betrapped" features gameplay similar to the pack-in windows game Minesweeper, but is played from an isometric perspective. Players guide Inspector Parker to investigate the many booby-trapped rooms of a large mansion, by clicking on the floor tiles they want him to walk to. As the Inspector moves about the room, "safe" floor tiles are gradually colored in. There are no traps adjacent to blue tiles, while green tiles have one trap next to them, yellow tiles have two, red tiles have three, and so on. The goal is to disarm each trapped floor tile by right clicking on it. If Inspector Parker accidentally steps on too many trapped tiles, or makes too many wrong guesses, the game is over.
