Better than I had expected
I had heard a lot of negative things about Windows 10, from it being buggy to unintuitive to a security nightmare. But so far I'm pleased. Yes, it's a chore to go through the longer setup and uncheck all the boxes that allow MS to keep tabs on what you're doing. But once it's done, it's done. The login screen is confusing. There's a beach cove scene but nothing else, and you have to know to hit the return key in order to bring up the log-in fields. I don't know why the log-in fields couldn't have been there by default; why have users do an extra unnecessary step? I was also pleasantly surprised at the speed of the OS. It hums right along with barely a hiccup. And it still supports some of my old favorite legacy games, which is a pleasant surprise.
