Cuts fast!
This is my first, and probably only, plasma cutter, so I can't really compare it to other models. I did a fair amount of research before I bought this one, and felt it was the best value. It cuts 3/8" plate really smooth and fast. The drag tip makes it easy to get a good cut, especially if you use a guide. It interferes with visibility on free hand cuts, but there are other nozzles and shields available for that. I love this machine. It is easy to use out of the box. I'd never used one before, but my very first cuts were faster and smoother than my oxy-fuel set up. Admittedly, I'm not the best with a torch, but this thing is so easy to use, my torch will be for brazing and heating mostly, now.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Whoda thunk...
I hated to buy another Hypertherm 45, but, the old one cost as much to fix as a new one to buy. Sooo, I bought this one. The torch was different than the old one so I thought all my consumables for the old 45 were useless. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the old torch would plug into the new power unit. To find that planned obsolescence wasn't part of their program is a real treat. Quite uncommon. Hats off to Hypertherm for that! Smooth and simple.
