The Zoom 505 Multi-Effects Guitar Effect Pedal can be suitable for any guitarist looking for versatility in a single pedal. It is decked out with its own built in tones to provide you with maximum creative control. You can spend hours fiddling with each of the fun and unique effects, and combine them in interesting ways to try to match the tone of your favorite guitarist. The Zoom 505 also features an integrated auto chromatic guitar tuner for on the go tuning anywhere in a simple and easy to use format. This simple, versatile device can make a great addition to any guitarist's equipment.Some of the guitar tones that can be accessed with the 505 include compression, distortion, reverb, delay, equalizer, modulation, noise reduction, an amp simulator, and chromatic tuner. There can be a myriad of sounds to discover through combinations of different effects that can keep any guitarist busy until the late hours of the night. This unit is engineered for a wide range of effects and combinations. A dual power supply can allow this pedal to be powered by either a 9 volt DC battery or an AC adapter for convenience. An optional foot pedal can be attached for use of a wah, volume control, or pitch control if desired.With this pedal, guitars can be hooked up to simulate thrashing metal leads. Or, if you prefer, it can also produce soft, sweeping acoustic tones. A bass guitar can be connected in order to try out the variety of settings on a different instrument. Every tone can be incredibly accurate and clear. The handy stomp box allows the player access to a multitude of tones. The definitive harmonics and shimmering layout of settings are quickly and easily tweaked by the rotation of a knob placed conveniently on the top so that you can switch back and forth with little effort. You can tap on the wah to wail like Jimi Hendrix, or try switching over to the reverb and blues overdrive for a sustained tone similar to Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. The device runs with a digital signal processor developed by Zoom that allows it to create the diversity of tones available. Whatever sound you are looking for, you can be confident that the Zoom 505 can deliver.The Zoom 505 manual gives simple, easy to follow instructions on how to properly use all of the pedals and different tones that are available. The 505 also can allow you to store different combinations of effects with individual parameter settings called patches. Using the pedals, you can conveniently switch back and forth between your favorite pre made sounds stored in the bank. Each patch can be edited in order to be fully customizable by the user.If at any time during your playing you wish to revert back to a clean tone, you can simply use the bypass in order to hear your guitar going straight to the amp without any effects. Lot of sound for the money
If you're looking for a lot of great effects for a modest amount of money, this is it. Many of the factory presets sound so good you won't want to change them. If you do they can be changed but not as easily as some of the higher dollar ones now that have knobs for adjusting the effects. The main downside to this product is that it has a cheap plastic case; however, that's probably how they could put good electronics in it for a value price. Multi-Talented Multi-Effect Pedal
This pedal has allowed to have one pedal for compression, chorus, flanger, and doubler w/o having to buy 4 pedals. Zoom 505, A great little Processor
If you're looking for a great guitar processor for the buck this is it! I wore my first one out so I was very fortunate to find another on ebay.
