Love this mascara, but...
This is my favorite mascara but when I got it, I could tell it had been out of the box. There was foundation in the creases of the leather where it looked like it floated around in a makeup bag and the seal seemed to be off as is it had been opened and it has a "not for sale" sticker on the tube. Tarte mascara "lights camera action"

This mascara won me over!
I ordered this after receiving a trial size from ipsy. I had been using the same waterproof mascara for years and wanted to try something gentler but with staying power. Really accentuates my lashes making them longer and more noticable!
I love this mascara! After reading some reviews of the top lengthening and thickening mascaras online, I opted to order the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara. My primary reason was because it was both lengthening and thickening and also because it was one of the few that contained natural ingredients. I was not disappointed. Two mascaras in one tube.
I have a hard time choosing & sticking with any mascara. I like the brush but not the formula or vice versa. This has the teddy bear brush I need for my upper lashes and the narrow fine brush for the lower lashes. The formula is good, haven't experienced any major clump formations. Who's lashes are those?
I received the Tarte Camera Lashes as a gift. My lashes, like my hair, are baby fine and a bit on the thin side. First time I used the Tarte mascara, applied one coat, let it dry. Excellent Mascara
Best mascara I've found in YEARS. It goes on in a medium-thin coat. You can easily add an extra coat (which I always do) for longer, thicker lashes while the first coat is still wet. I haven't tried adding a coat to already dry lashes. It's NOT clumpy at all. It adds both length and thickness and keeps your lashes separated. Personally, I like a bit smaller of a brush, but not a deal breaker. The brush is average sized. This stays on great, and is tear-resistant, but not waterproof. If you fall asleep with it on, your lashes will definitely be DRY in the morning, so as always, you should remove it before bed, but stuff happens and I'm just letting you know. Even after sleeping in it and it became dry, I didn't lose any lashes that I noticed. Very happy with this product. Amazing natural mascara
My favorite mascara was by Givenchy. It definitely gave you movie star lashes and no racoon eyes but had tons of chemicals in it. When I was pregnant I started developing an allergy to it which caused me to search for a more natural based alternative. Stumbled on Tarte LCA, gave it a test and was hooked. It gave me the movie star lashes and no racoon eyes, no bad chemicals and at half the cost You have to apply it a few times more/longer to get a heavier wow impact but it gets you there.
