Did not meet expectations
Base module does provide more base sound, but not nearly what I'd hoped for. I'm using with a Bose Ultra Soundbar which is great on its own, especially for movies. System replaced an old Bose Cinemax that really delivered until it stopped functioning. My expectation was the new soundbar and the 500 base module would be better than the 20 year old system it isn't. So if I was to do again, I would skip the expense of the base module and just use the standalone soundbar. Or if you really want more base, maybe try the 700 base model which is two times larger.

Small but powerful
Since this is a used subwoofer I don't know how long it has been used and if it was over powered or not but the sound is great and pleased to have purchased it.

Bose 500 base module
Awesome product it is nice and compact but delivers great bass. A very nice upgrade for your sound bar. I only have one complaint about this product but it is to do with the compatibility as it says that it is wireless and compatible with various sound bars but that is not the case as I found out. It is only wireless compatible with certain models in the compatibility list.

Sound is decent for a small room.
This is a decent subwoofer. Not the best but it is a solid product that will certainly add depth to your listing/tv viewing experience. I would recommend.

It's a Bose at a great price
It's a Bose at a great price. After spending almost a grand for a Bose 300 Series sound bar, I just couldn't afford the base unit. Can't say that I missed it but boy once I tuned this base unit on there was a real difference There is a lot of deep base on movies and TV that you miss without the base unit. Now my modest system is complete

Bass is good sound but rather weak imo
The sound of the sound bass module is ok, but it was difficult to connect to the soundbar. It does look good and does produce bass just not very powerful. The price is overpriced compared to other bass modules in this market imo.

Sound enhancement
I started with the soundbar 500 which provides mediocre sound immersion for my medium sized room. In adding the Bose bass module I was hoping for additional immersion to feel connected to the action and dialogue for my shows and movies. I’ve been disappointed so far for a majority of my viewing experience. In some moments the system sounds like a worthwhile improvement but those moments are too few and too far between.

Bose
The price is affordable barely scratched. And like brand new we’ve been looking for this old manufacturer date because new one have knocked sound when the bose volume is high.

Awesome Sub-woofer Speaker!
I bought and received the speaker the next day. Amazing delivery speed. It was Easy to pair with my Bose sound bar. The combination now works perfectly like a movie theater in my living room. Love it and will recommend it anytime.
