Magellan may be better than Garmin
I have always had, and used a Garmin GPS. But after having a problem with with an E-Trex unit, and finding out that they don't even repair them. I decided to purchase the Magellan unit. It has a clearer screen and is very easy to use. The batteries last longer then the Garmin, and it has a better night light. The only thing I use it for is fishing and sometimes hunting. I've had 1like it for 12 yrs & use it every yr for hunting but battery compartment is worn out all the buttons are worn I'm happy I was able to find another 1 like it..I don't like the new style gps on the market I'm very happy with my purchase...already put my maps on it & its ready to go for hunting next year...Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Older technology still works for us
I gave it 5 stars because it does what I need. I have the software so I could load it for my area. Realizing the software is 15 years out of date, it can still let us hike in the woods near us and get us back to our car. For the price it did what we wanted. Works great but will your phone do the same thing?
