I needed to print labels on the disk and it does it.

A miracle to find a brand new one
I was quite lucky to find a new, unused 'all-in-one' to replace the one that I had. My original HP C-5280 jammed up and konked out, after about seven years of good service. By choice, I run the Windows XP operating system on my computer. In order to buy a currently made new 'all-in-one' copier/printer/scanner, I would have had to also buy a new computer with a more up to date operating system. New 'all-in-one' printers are no longer compatible with Windows XP. By finding a brand new HP C-5280 'all-in-one' of the exact model that I had, it was a simple matter to disconnect the old one and plug in the new one. My computer already had the program installed and recognized the new machine immediately. Another thing I disliked about the currently made 'all-in-one' printers is that they have a smaller scanning bed. The old HP C-5280 has a nice size scanning bed, which serves my purpose. Also, all current printers require four {expensive} ink cartridges that cost a whopping $ 70.00 + tax. Is this progress? The old HP C-5280 takes two, much less expensive ink cartridges. I'm saving a huge amount of money in ink costs, as well as not having to buy a new computer. Hooking everything up was a breeze. It purrs like a kitten and works great !! I'm thrilled with it. WORKING FINE. SHIPPING PROBLEMS.

Would not buy any other printer except HP C5280 or HP C5580

it fit my needs perfectly
I bought the printer to replace a my existing one that developed a problem. Although it was a used printer it came well packaged with all of the relevant paperwork.
