Best Portable DVD Player
I've owned several portable DVD players over the years, and this one is by far the best. It feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy like a lot of the newer models out there. It has good image and color, easy to use buttons, loud volume, and long battery life. If you turn the unit off, the disc will resume play where you left off. It comes with a remote control, wall charger, car charger, TV cables, and a thin carrying case which is useless. I purchased another carrying case for under $20 which was much more robust. I bought this player for my toddler, and he used it for over a year until his baby brother spilled a beverage on it. If that hadn't happened, there's no telling how much longer the unit would have lasted. Since this player has been discontinued by the manufacturer, it's no longer available in stores. I tried other brands/models but ended up returning them because they just didn't measure up. One consistent shortcoming the other models had was their volume wasn't loud at all. One feature they did have which the Philips player lacks is a swivel screen. However, that's just one less thing my kids can break. Good product
One of the only portable dvd players left on the market. It has worked well for us so far I just not sure how long its going to last. The screen is flimsy and feels like it will break off soon. Nice to have a portable DVD player that works as expected
Very pleased. I watch movies everyday and needed a player that returns o the place I left off when it was shut down. very little to complain about. It has a great picture and is nicely portable. The price was fantastic for the unit ($47). The only thing i haven't found is the time remaining display. Maybe it is in there and I just haven't found it yet. Best portable DVD player
I just bought this for the 3rd time in a number of years. It's the best portable DVD player out there. When I did research when I needed to buy a new one, I kept on reading bad reviews on the other brands and types, but this one kept on coming out on top. Not long enough...
I took one star off due to the included A/C adapter having a relatively short cord. I had to order a replacement adapter(actually I bought two just to be sure to have a long enough cord) just to get more flexibility with the player's location in relation to the wall socket. The battery is not a 5 hour battery. I fully charged it before I used it for the first time. I played a one hour forty-one minute movie and followed it with a three hour movie that only made it about half way through before the 'connect a/c/adapter' started flashing.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

So Reliable
This Phillips refurbished DVD player is exactly like the new ones we've had in years past. Excellent in all features. I especially like that its sound goes loud enough in a noisy kitchen unlike the newer brands on the market.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

Great little DVD player. Very handy.
