Nice display piece, questionable for trooping use.
This copy of the E11 Blaster as seen in Star Wars (or, as some folks know it, Episode IV: A New Hope - it was just "Star Wars" when I first saw it in 1977) is a neat addition to a Star Wars collection. It's accurate to the blasters carried by the Imperial Stormtroopers and includes a nice display stand. The charger clip is held in the magazine by means of a metal peg with an O-ring attached. The scope has a very nice targeting graphic, and the attached counter box, with serial number that matches the stand, is a cool feature. But the blaster is missing some details that might upset some fans (D-ring on the end cap, charging lever on the right side of the receiver, weird hole in the receiver bolt on the right side). Then again, I haven't freeze-framed the original movie in a while, so these details might be missing from the prop blasters and I just don't know it. Also, I would recommend against buying this if you are going to be walking around in Imperial Stormtrooper armor. It is extremely lightweight (about a pound and a half), which is great for trooping, but that same lightweight factor means it might end up in pieces if you drop it. It weighs less than a quarter of the solid-resin E11 that I own, and roughly half of what the multi-media copy I bought with my armor weighs. If you are looking for a copy of the E11 that will look great sitting on a display shelf, then this is for you. If you are looking for something to carry while trooping, use your best judgment, as there are more durable examples that cost about half of what this blaster does. I'm happy with it, and it looks neat sitting on the shelf in my studio, next to my Black Series Stormtrooper helmet.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
