Blender jaw and base both Stink
Plastic STINKS, horrible out-gassing. I had to soak jar for several days in vinegar solution before use. The base is still emitting toxic fumes. It is hard to reach underneath blades to remove food, and clean plastic surface. I plan to buy a rubber spatula to help remove food. Why wasn't one included? The rubber jar cover must be forced on and off. The base with jar is 8" wide X 9" deep X17" tall. Motor seems powerful. It's easy to accidentally turn exposed power switch on.

Expensive, but worth it. A very high quality home blender.
The Vitamix E310 Explorian performs as it looks. It is very solid and easy to use. The quality is obvious with thick rubber vibration dampeners, metal gear drives and laser cut blades. The switches and dial have a firm quality feel. There are just 2 switches and a dial; on/off, pulse and 1-10 velocity. It is very powerful. It is also expensive compared to other home blenders. As to size it probably won't fit under your kitchen cabinet so I wouldn't call it "compact" like another popular model (of far lower quality and mine broke) the Nutribullet. But by no means is it ponderous. I use it to make smoothies and then put it back in my closet. Incidentally, the thick rubber top and 48 ounce canister easily wash with a sink rinse. In sum, I would say the old maxim that "You get what you pay for." applies.

Amazing
it completely pulverizes leafy greens, chia seeds, and anything else u put in it to make smoothies. I haven't tried soup yet but that's next. The variable speed is great- it really has a large range. Its heavy duty. Its the perfect size for one or for two people. Its not very noisy on medium speed but does get louder on high- like most blenders. With spinach there is nothing to chew- no bits at all. Its expensive but if you like quality tools do yourself a favor and get one

Vitamix E310 Explotian Blender Black
I love the ease of clean up after each use. It’s easy to operate. It has a very powerful motor. It’s just the right size for me. I like the simplicity of the blender. I’ll get many years of service from this blender.

Pretty good.
A little quieter than Bullet 900w but results are about the same - good. Hope the blade lasts. Got tired of buying new bullet blades every couple of months. Don't understand why it's 3-4 times the cost of a Bullet. They weigh about the same, do the same thing. This Vitamix takes a little more counter space - but not much. Like it so far.

So far OK, it is easy to oerate and works nicely but not timer set capability is a kind of shortcoming. Lastly the product is so pricy (too expensive). I do not see why it is so expensive beause ot the construction compared to the other conpititive products in the market.

This Vitamix is great. It makes smooth smoothies (of a mix of vegetables and fruits) & I like them very smooth. Noise level is tolerable y load. Very easy to clean- only 3 parts.

Best blender I’ve ever used, so powerful and easy to clean which is what I’ve been looking for in a blender! Recommend everyone to get one if they can afford it

It takes up some counter space
The Vitamixer is extremely powerful but naturally with a lot of power comes some size. It’s hard to have this much power in a small package.
