The FX-880P features 32KB of RAM permanent memory and the RP-33 expansion module lets you double that, up to 64KB. This gives you the space to store a wide variety of calculations. Featuring 116 built-in memory formulas and statistical/scientific software utilities, the Casio FX-880P incorporates easy-reference constants displayed on a sharp LCD screen. This screen has the capacity to clearly display up to 32 columns and 2 lines at a time. You can scroll through any text that doesn't fit on the generous display screen with the arrow keys, thus giving you room to write complex mathematical calculations.This Casio device has long-lasting battery power. It uses two CR2032 lithium batteries as its main power supply. Even if they die, you won’t lose your stored information because it features a single CR1220 lithium battery as a backup power supply. All programmable code on this Casio device exists in the persistent memory these batteries power. That means your code exists outside of the fault zones of any processes that create it. This makes for extremely efficient access to algebraic variables.Other features include an integrated speaker and the ability to connect to cassette tape recorders via the Casio FA-6 interface board.
